Why We Swam with Sharks

We were proud to be part of The HollyRod Foundation  My Brother Charlie goes to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ on August 31, 2016.

We provided our live Topricin Team Spirit at The Aquarium, which was closed privately for the night so that 300 beautiful souls from PA and NJ area could experience the freedom of enjoying the Aquatic environment that was safe and comforting for children living with Autism.

My Brother Charlie is named after the  book  Holly Robinson Peete wrote with her eldest son, RJ, who was diagnosed at a young age with autism.  HollyRod’s mission is to provide support and resources to families  affected by an autism diagnosis…autism can decimate families physically, emotionally and most of all financially.

The invited kids danced under the sea and delighted in the array of aquatic wildlife.

holly21Adventure Aquarium is just minutes from downtown Philadelphia on the Camden Waterfront and features one-of-a-kind exhibits with more than 8,500 aquatic species throughout two million gallons of water.  The Aquarium is home to the largest collection of sharks on the East Coast, including the only Great Hammerhead Shark on exhibit in the United States, the only aquarium in the world to exhibit hippos and one of only six facilities in the US to have Little Blue Penguins as permanent residents!

topchildrenEvery family that attended received a tube of our Topricin for Children and we are humbled to be thanked directly by The HollyRod Foundation below:

Thanks to Walgreens, HollyRod hosted over 300 Philly area families from The Center for Autism, Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and Nassan’s Place to an evening on the corner of happy and healthy aka the Adventure Aquarium in Camden New Jersey. In addition to Walgreens, we have Toys”R”Us Topricin Tony Luke’s MBB Management JGerard Design Studio & “Peace Gallery” and Bare Snacks to thank for helping HollyRod put smiles on a lot of little faces!

It was a true honor to meet Holly and Rodney and their beautiful family. The family stars in For Peete’s Sake, which airs on the OWN Network.
