Though our reach is global and we get testimonials every day from the UK to Australia to China, we are honored to be home based in Rhinebeck, NY and we are extremely active in working with and giving back to the beautiful people and businesses right here in the scenic Hudson Valley.
2.We also continually partner with local businesses in our community as much as possible and adore being a member of The Rhinebeck Chamber. Some of them include:
3.The Healthy Back Bag by AmeriBag, Inc. , located in Kingston, New York. This brand is now established in over 27 countries worldwide and its popularity is spreading every day. There are hundreds of different variations – color, fabric, size or design. We joined up last October for #BreastCancerAwareness to bring the exclusive #BreastCancer Care Bundle!
4.In May, 13-15, we are proudly sponsoring the 2016 Social Venture Institute at the famous Omega Institute in Rhinebeck. Social Venture Institute / Hudson Valley is an independently organized program of Social Venture Network (SVN), a community of the world’s leading social entrepreneurs working together to create transformational innovation, growth and impact. Since 1996, SVIs across North America have provided more than 1,500 entrepreneurs the opportunity to strengthen their business skills, network, and rejuvenate their vision.
5.In the spirit of B Corp dedicated to reducing our environmental impact, we are starting a partnership with Zero to Go in Beacon, New York – an education-based waste management company focused on composting and recycling. Zero provides Zero waste event services in the Hudson Valley; Consulting services for everything related to waste in commercial and residential settings; Compost pickup services and Sales of compostable products.
6.We also give-back and encourage give-back within our community. Our COO Aurora Paradise presented Hudson River Housing, Inc., Poughkeepsie, NY, with 500 tubes of Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream for residents of Webster House: The Gail V. Webster Memorial Shelter for the Homeless. The product donation reflects our commitment to its “Get Relief, Give Relief” initiative. Hudson River Housing is committed to improving lives and addressing the health and wellness needs of the most vulnerable members of the population.
7.For the past two years, we’ve also participated at The O+ Festival, in Kingston, NY. This non-profit O+ Festival (pronounced o-positive) connects musicians, artists, and health & wellness providers for weekend-long celebrations featuring concerts and performances, art making, and wellness offerings for the entire community.
We Love Living and Giving #Local. Home is where the heart is and we are so grateful for our home here in the Hudson Valley.
