Back at the office

Good Afternoon Back at our Home Offices Today Wednesday June 30-10

As an update from last week’s blog, I’ve just returned from the NATA (National Athletic Trainers Association) national event at the Philadelphia Convention Center. Steve and I were delighted to see many of our dear friends among this dedicated group of healthcare professionals, as well as new faces who became friends over the course of the 3-day event.

Athletic trainers are well known, recognized, qualified health care professionals who are multi-skilled, multi-talented, and dedicated to the health, wellness and vitality of young athletes nationwide.

We were gratified to hear how the utilization of Topricin—our topical pain relief and healing technology—has made significant contributions in injury prevention, treatment and recovery and has become mandatory protocol by athletic trainers to reduce or eliminate the use of smelly, hot, greasy ointments…AND, more importantly, reduce and eliminate the use of oral pain medications in training regimens.

Many athletic trainers echoed the words of one professional that stated, “We are very excited for our young athletes and our profession that the giant bottle of ibuprofen is no longer part of our training treatment and recovery. Topricin made us and the athletes we serve aware that oral pain medicines—with all their side effects—are a barbaric, outdated approach to relieving pain compared to a 21st century smart pain relief and prevention realized by using a real healing technology—and that’s Topricin.”

This was on the heels of how appalled all of these professionals are regarding the massive recall of McNeil Division’s Children’s Tylenol and Children’s Motrin products, and the FDA’s reports of the shocking conditions in the manufacturing plant:

This begs the question: even if the quality of manufacturing these products in question was okay, WHY SHOULD ANYONE BE TAKING CHEMICALS THAT ARE KNOWN TO DAMAGE AND DESTROY THE KIDNEYS (IBUPROFEN) and THE LIVER (ACETAMINOPHEN) AND WORSE GIVE THESE SAME CHEMICAL PRODUCTS TO…THEIR…CHILDREN???????

What do you think?? We would like to hear from you.

Wishing you and your families a safe, happy, healthy and FUN July 4th weekend

Lou
